1. You've seen Raito's oether, Mun. This is Mun in his laerger form (I love these gay spellings X3). Basically Raito is deadly enemies with Mun, and finds him a threat. He wants Mun to return to the black zone (Raito lives in the white zone - DARREN SHAN RULES) where all the banished creatures are sent, but Raito won't accept the fact that he can't exist without Mun in the same zone. So basically this represents Mun just hoping that Raito will accept him.
